Rubus guyanensis Focke is a species from the highlands of Northern South America that has been underutilized but has a high potential to be used in breeding programs. It is native to the highlands of Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, and northern Brazil. The author found three plant morphs in R. guyanensis based on mature leaflet shape and stipule color: the “Elliptical” morph, with nearly elliptical leaflets and purple-green lanceolate stipules; the “Oblong-acuminate” morph, which has elongated leaflets and purple-green lanceolate stipules; and the “Cordate-lanceolate” morph, which has oblong with acuminate tip leaflets and green or green-purple lanceolate stipules. The author found the “Oblong-acuminate” morph of R. guyanensis at 3100 meters above sea level (m. a. s. l.) next to the road that leads from La Calera, Cundinamarca State, to Chingaza National Park, Colombia. In this same location, the author found the “Elliptical” morph. The author also found the “Cordate-lanceolate” morph growing at 3100 m. a. s. l. in Verada el Verjón, near la Calera, Cundinamarca State, Colombia.

摘要
