BlockVoteX: A Parallelized Biometric Voting System with Hybrid Blockchain Identity Handling
摘要
This paper introduces BlockVoteX, a decentralized digital voting platform combining biometric identity verification with a parallelized blockchain framework. The system integrates cloud-based pseudo-blockchain records for registration and login, combined with Ethereum smart contracts to register the votes transparently. Individual candidates have logically separated voting chains, which support concurrent vote processing and reduce system bottlenecks. Authentication is handled through facial recognition, eliminating the need for manual voter validation while preserving privacy through non-invasive verification. Through the separation of the voting and identity layers, BlockVoteX enables high throughput, tamper-resistance, and complete traceability. The architecture is scalable and provides real-time auditability, making it suitable for both institutional and nationwide elections.
