Assessment of the Atmospheric Air Pollutions Impact: By Vehicle Emissions on the Health of Population in Kazan, 2015–2021
摘要
Clean air is one of the main and necessary conditions for the well-being of the population. The results of numerous modern studies show the growth of the number of premature deaths caused by the atmospheric air pollution. According to WHO estimations, in 2019 the pollution of atmospheric air (the outdoor air) both in cities and in rural areas resulted in 4.2 million cases of premature deaths in the world. The most vulnerable population groups as far as a negative impact of the atmosphere pollution on the health are women, children, and elderly people. The aim of the work is to assess a non-carcinogenic risk for the health of the child population living in certain zones of the city of Kazan. The following tasks were set: to calculate the exposure and assess a non-carcinogenic risk for the health of the child population from the chemicals getting into the atmospheric air with vehicle emissions in certain city zones; to carry out ranking of the city zones according to the level of non-carcinogenic risk for the child population health and priority pollutants.
