摘要

Building on the synthesis previously emerged, this chapter examines the strategic dimension of digital transformation (DT) research in nonprofit organizations (NPOs). It compares established models developed in the for-profit sector with the distinctive conditions of NPOs, such as mission primacy, resource scarcity, and stakeholder complexity. The chapter analyzes the strategic capabilities that enable NPOs to convert digital opportunities into meaningful organizational value. It offers a conceptual framework adopting a sociotechnical lens to describe how NPOs interpret and execute their digital strategies in alignment with their social purpose.
