In the Fourth Industrial Revolution, is the activity of safeguarding Industrial systems, networks, and devices against the threat of cyberattacks in the manufacturing sector because of the advanced integration of automation, AI, and IoT technology. This new interconnectivity introduces other risks because a network is more vulnerable to attacks by hackers. Since, most industries depend heavily on critical infrastructure, an attack affects the economy. Specific issues include protecting ICS and SCADA systems, APTs, and unknown threats, as well as issues with IoT devices and cloud computing. Additionally, there are few competent professionals enough to handle with such sophisticated risks. To counter these, organizations must replicate security in systems and devices, security audit and vulnerability assessment, security tests and penetration testing, incident preparedness and response, make disaster recovery. Org cybersecurity education for the employees remains crucial, to complement efforts by organizations and governments to share intelligence and even implementation strategies. Finally, sound cybersecurity measures are the most critical approaches that help protect systems of Industry 4.0 from cyber threats. Much can be said about the fact that investing in efficient security measures will help to save the infrastructure and technologies used within organizations from newly detected threats.
