Stresses in the Sealing Elements of a High-Performance Spherical Valve
摘要
This paper presents a static finite element analysis to evaluate the stress distribution, contact behavior, and deformation of sealing system components under internal pressure. The sealing system consists of a movable ring and a seat made of stainless steel. The sealing system of high-performance spherical valves plays a critical role in ensuring operational safety and efficiency. Emphasis is placed on identifying potential failure zones and understanding how material properties and design parameters influence sealing performance. The results offer valuable insights for improving the mechanical reliability of spherical valves and contribute to the development of optimized designs suited for demanding industrial applications.
