This contribution aims to analyze the World Network project, called initially Worldcoin, which represents an innovative approach to cryptocurrencies through biometric user verification via the specialized device for iris scanning called Orb, without revealing personal data. The main part provides readers with a comparative study of Worldcoin against other cryptocurrencies from technological, economic, user, and regulatory perspectives, identifying specific advantages and disadvantages of the project related to others.
