This research aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance among employees at Konecta Perú, Lima office, in 2025. It is based on the premise that individuals who understand and manage both their own emotions and those of others tend to achieve better performance, handle challenges more effectively, and contribute to a more productive work environment. The study is basic, with a quantitative approach, and follows a cross-sectional, correlational design, analyzing the relationship between these variables at a specific point in time. Emotional intelligence is examined through dimensions such as task performance, contextual performance, counterproductive behavior, punctuality, personal image, and conflict resolution skills. The results will contribute to identifying how these variables are interrelated and will support the proposal of strategies to strengthen emotional intelligence, thereby enhancing employee performance and well-being. In conclusion, the research hypothesis was analyzed and confirmed: there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance among employees at Konecta Perú, Lima office, in 2025.

This research aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance among employees at Konecta Perú, Lima office, in 2025.
