Conflict, Internal Displacement, and Sexual Health: An African Experience
摘要
This chapter aims to examine the intersection of conflict, displacement, and sexual health in Africa, highlighting existing gaps, policy challenges, and opportunities for intervention. More specifically, it delves deeper into challenges related to sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV in humanitarian settings, sexual violence (SV), and, more broadly, gender-based violence (GBV). By shedding light on these complex and interlocking issues, the chapter advocates for a more inclusive, rights-based approach that prioritizes the sexual and reproductive health of displaced populations in Africa.
