Efficiency and productivity are crucial in industrial environments, driving competitiveness and sustainability. This work addresses the critical problem of low productivity in a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling plant, located in Juliaca, Peru, through a meticulous analysis rooted in industrial engineering principles. Based on an extensive literature review, the study highlights the importance of continuous improvement methodologies such as 6S, standardized work, and Kaizen in solving operational challenges. Methodologically, a rigorous analysis was conducted that involved data collection, qualitative and quantitative assessments, and the development of performance indicators to identify root causes. Comparison with analogous problems in the literature reinforces the urgency and relevance of the study. The innovative proposal integrates Lean methodologies and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) within a Kaizen framework to optimize processes, manage inventory, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This holistic approach promises transformative results, enhancing efficiency and competitiveness by aligning with global best practices. Through practical insights and recommendations, this work contributes to the discourse on improving productivity in industrial contexts, advocating for sustained efforts towards organizational excellence and operational optimization.

摘要
