This paper presents a compact 2-port circularly polarised MIMO antenna for advanced RADAR applications. To guarantee constant circular polarisation, the suggested antenna has a unique ground structure, Z-shaped radiating elements, and a micro strip line-fed design. To further enhance port-to-port isolation, it includes a winding U-shaped metallic strip between the elements. The antenna provides reliable circular polarization over key radar bands with an axial ratio bandwidth of 32.10% (4.42–6.11 GHz) and a broad impedance bandwidth of 90.94% (3.04–8.11 GHz). The design’s tiny size of 24 × 24 × 1.6 mm3 makes it ideal for radar platforms with limited room. Strong performance and robustness are crucial diversity metrics. Validation of the design using full-wave simulations with CST Microwave Studio and measurement confirmation show excellent agreement for Radar system integration.
