A Hierarchical Hybrid Security System Integrating Biometric and Alphanumeric Credential
摘要
Although security has grown in importance, people also need a system that is affordable and adaptable to their needs. a reasonably priced system that can be tailored to our requirements. People are exposed to security risks because traditional doors are simple to open. This study aims to compare previous research in the area of security control systems that have been developed and modified over time with the evolution of multifactor authentication techniques. A keypad, a GSM module, a microcontroller, and other gadgets. Depending on its current state, the microcontroller will either activate the electric lock or unlock feature if the fingerprints and keypad match. If not, it not only sounds a buzzer to alert others around it, but it also sends an alert message to the person via the GSM module. After the system has been reset, the user needs to enter the correct password and a known fingerprint. Last but not least, this study attempts to use a keypad and multilayer biometric technology to provide a high degree of security at a reasonable price, giving homeowners the utmost peace of mind.
