Modern Farming: AI Driven Crop and Fertilizer Recommendations for Better Yields

Agriculture is the process of providing food to the human population, but the rear several issues arising from farming: the climatic factor, the quality of soil to be used, and the final decision on what kind of crops and type and quality of fertilizer to be used. More often, these problems lead to relatively low yields or wasted resources. This provides a solution to one of the most common concerns of the farmers. They do that by employing the use of machine learning to assist in making a decision on it. Classification and crop advice of the system employ functions such as Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Naïve Bayesian Classifier, Decision Tree, and Random Forest. On fertilizers, it has as implified dictionary-based mechanism that uses the nutrient status of the soils and the available nutrients in the soils to recommend the right fertilizer for the general improvement of the generals oils and crops. This system helps in sustainable farming by providing the farmers with specific details on how they can increase their yields; hence, it is capable of closing the gap between traditional and technological-based farming easily.
