Neutral Treatment Influence on Phase Voltage Stabilization Time after Single-Phase Fault Elimination
摘要
As a result of the tests conducted to analyze the association of the shunt circuit breaker with the suppression coil and the resistor neutral treatment, this paper aims to provide practical confirmation of findings previously suggested in the literature. Specifically, it demonstrates that the stabilization time of the phase voltages in medium voltage network after the elimination of a single-phase fault is directly influenced by the type of the neutral treatment. Furthermore, determining the stabilization time of phase voltages experimentally is very important for designing the operational logic of shunt circuit breakers associated with suppression coils. This helps prevent the misidentification of the faulty phase during the phase voltage oscillations following the single-phase fault elimination - a phenomenon observed and analyzed in the tests described in this paper.
