The discipline of international business has become increasingly important in Peru, driven by globalisation and trade liberalisation. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the main subject areas covered in undergraduate academic work in International Business, identifying both established lines of research and those that require further development. To this end, a bibliometric analysis was carried out of theses defended between 2020 and 2024 to obtain a bachelor’s degree at Peruvian universities, using the RENATI managed by SUNEDU as a source. The results show a high concentration of research on exports, international logistics, e-commerce and trade agreements, with a predominance of quantitative and descriptive methodological approaches. However, significant limitations were identified, such as heterogeneity in the quality and structure of the work, limited availability of primary data and the scarce presence of innovative theoretical and methodological approaches. Despite these limitations, RENATI is consolidating its position as a valuable source for analysing national academic output, enabling the identification of trends, thematic gaps and opportunities for strengthening educational research in the field. This assessment applies text mining techniques to contribute to the design of more relevant academic strategies for students, graduates and professors of international business in the face of the contemporary challenges of the global and regional environment currently demanded by academic literature.

摘要
