The legal sector has been transformed with the implementation of the latest technological advancements. Software like Artificial Intelligence and Blockchains have made the courts’ proceedings swifter and more efficient. The legal stakeholders have adopted these advancements in order to modernize the delivery of justice. The technological tools have contributed in functions like electronic evidence management, predictive analysis, case management, legal research and drafting. In India, the interlinking of AI and Blockchain with the judicial courts are found to be extensive. This research aims at establishing the concept of Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in the legal context along with their respective applications. By aiming so, it also explains the challenges that are associated with the implementation and adoption of these technologies in the judicial courts. Moreover, it also suggests certain measures for the effective and efficient balance between the implementation and challenges posed by these technological tools.
