Private Schemes for Cybersecurity Certifications: Experimental Modelling and Forecasting for Success
摘要
In the rapidly evolving domain of digital technologies, cybersecurity has become the main concern for public institutions, private enterprises, and individual users. A significant development in this context is the accreditation of private cybersecurity certification schemes, which represents a substantial advancement toward the establishment of a comprehensive and structured cybersecurity framework. This paper proposes a comprehensive methodological approach aimed at forecasting the success of specific decision-making processes and assessing their influence on the wide diffusion of cybersecurity certification practices. The methodology integrates multicriteria evaluation alongside the validation and verification of an experimental forecasting model to ensure its applicability in real-world scenarios. The study concludes with a discussion of the findings highlighting the influence of innovative cybersecurity technology on product performance and addresses the aspects to be considered in the context of cybersecurity evaluation and the impact on marketing attractiveness.
