Insurance is considered to be one of the prominent growth drivers of economy. From 1990 onwards when we have opened our economy Insurance has played a key role in our growth story. Initially it was dominated by LIC, Govt. Player, but the opening of economy, Insurance sector has noticed entry of many private players. Leading to intense competition in this sector. With the entry of many private players Insurance sector has noticed a tremendous boom in the sector resulted in overall growth, leading to new dimensions of Customer satisfaction. This topic is basically analysing the various factors which are responsible for effective Customer satisfaction and also to create a market for Consumers. Multiple factors are responsible for purchasing the Insurance products both from Public and Private sector. Many factors are responsible for selecting the Insurance product, it can be economic criteria, demographic profile of Customer, Brand value, perception of masses against the sector, services provided by Insurance Companies, A survey was conducted to analyse all the factors to find out the response parameters. Various variables are identified to determine the factors which are responsible for Customer preference and satisfaction. Profiling of Customers clearly indicated that Customers are having a set of specific preference and Non- preference towards the Insurance products.
