By examining the experiences of EU nations in achieving integration and developing a unified food market, this research aims to identify theoretical and practical approaches for strengthening food security and managing food imports in the Kyrgyz Republic. Based on the analysis and evaluation of food security in the EU countries, the authors highlight their key advantages in planning and implementing food security initiatives, assess their level of development, and underscore the relevance of applying their experience to the Kyrgyz context. Within the broader framework of economic integration, the research focuses on economic mechanisms that ensure food security as its main subject and object. The findings of this research provide a solid theoretical and methodological foundation for advancing food security and offer practical recommendations for implementation. The analysis of food security in the Kyrgyz Republic is grounded in an in-depth examination of theoretical sources and the development of applied recommendations addressing existing challenges in this field. The proposed recommendations serve as a basis for further research on food security by graduate students, doctoral candidates, and other interested scholars. The research employs a range of research methods, including comparative analysis, economic and statistical techniques, systems analysis, and monographic approaches.
