The research aims to provide a theoretical and methodological justification for the potential development of organic agriculture in the Kyrgyz Republic (KR) and develop practical recommendations. Based on the analysis and assessment of the current state of organic farming in the Kyrgyz Republic, the research identifies the key challenges in this area, the level of development, and the underlying factors. It also proposes improvements to the regulatory and legal framework, adherence to ecological principles in national agriculture, and the production of environmentally friendly products through the application of innovations and scientific and technological advancements in this sector, such as drip irrigation and biohumus. Other proposed measures include preserving and enhancing soil fertility, abandoning synthetic substances, ensuring proper crop rotation, promoting efficient and targeted use of natural resources, and safeguarding public health and that of future generations. The object and subject of this research are the organizational and economic mechanisms related to the development of organic agriculture under conditions of sustainable rural development. The research proposes specific mechanisms for improving organic farming in the context of innovation- and investment-driven growth. Based on the conducted research, the theoretical and methodological foundations, as well as the current state and development prospects of organic agriculture, are substantiated; practical recommendations are presented. The implementation of these theoretical and practical recommendations will help create favorable conditions for the further advancement of organic agriculture in the Kyrgyz Republic, enable effective solutions to major challenges in this field, and strengthen state support and regulation. The research results serve as a scientific basis for the continued development of organic farming. The research methods employed include system analysis, economic and statistical analysis, monographic and comparative methods, and others.
