Current State and Prospects of Halal Business in Central Asian Countries in the Context of Ensuring Food Security Based on Climate-Smart Technologies

The research aims to theoretically and methodologically substantiate the state and prospects for the development of halal business, covering key sectors such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and tourism in Central Asian countries, and to develop practical recommendations. The research examines factors influencing the development of halal businesses, identifies challenges in this area, and proposes prospects for halal business development in the region, including the need to improve standards and certification, as well as opportunities for further enhancing public–private cooperation. The findings of this research confirm the importance of the halal sector for the economic development of Central Asian countries and its potential on the international stage. The authors of this research aim to develop specific proposals for the development of halal businesses in Central Asian countries, based on innovative and investment-driven approaches, in accordance with international standards, within the context of enhancing integration relations.
