Comparison of Two Models with Non-ordinary Arrival Process to Analyze the Cluster of the DECT-2020 Network
摘要
DECT-2020 NR is a wireless communication standard designed for large-scale IoT networks with a large number of devices. In such networks, a sink node collects data from multiple sources. In this paper, we modeled a DECT-2020 sink node as a discrete packet arrival system, where data packets are processed in batches. We compared two types of systems with different arrival disciplines, Early Arrival and Late Arrival, across several metrics, including the age of information (AoI), which measures the freshness of the received data. The results showed how the difference in the order of batch arrival affected network performance and Age of Information.
