Consciousness has been the subject of scientific study for the last four decades. Still, we are not clear about what purpose this research serves and where this academic exercise begins. We have been pursuing it without any breakthrough. One reason is our assumption that consciousness is sourced in the brain. The present paper presents a different narrative, assuming that extracerebral and cerebral consciousness interact at the top of the cerebral cortex, with spatiotemporal dynamics and antennae dynamics. This different approach opens up multiple new doors for science.

摘要

Consciousness has been the subject of scientific study for the last four decades. Still, we are not clear about what purpose this research serves and where this academic exercise begins. We have been pursuing it without any breakthrough. One reason is our assumption that consciousness is sourced in the brain. The present paper presents a different narrative, assuming that extracerebral and cerebral consciousness interact at the top of the cerebral cortex, with spatiotemporal dynamics and antennae dynamics. This different approach opens up multiple new doors for science.
