The article examines and are analyzed, significantly surpassing the best world technologies in their performance combined production of electricity and heat. The determination of the efficiency of fuel use by the value of the fuel heat utilization coefficient was revealed. An opinion has been formed about the arrival of a new, energy-informational electric world—a new technological community—to replace the world industrial electric power industry. The developed savings achieved when converting a boiler to the combined heat and power plant mode on a combined-cycle device are substantiated.
