Evaluating Learner-Centered Online Courses
摘要
This chapter focuses on the EvaluationEvaluation phase of ADDIEADDIE, emphasizing its role in continuous course improvement rather than as a final step. It incorporates Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Evaluation, Backward DesignBackward Design principles, and Gagné’s Events of Instruction to analyze alignment, engagement, and the effectiveness of instructional sequences. The chapter highlights strategies for gathering and interpreting learner feedback, performance data, and analytics to evaluate whether course objectives and outcomes were met. By using multiple perspectives and emphasizing learner-centered evaluation, instructors, instructional designers, and administrators can identify strengths, address gaps, and ensure ongoing improvement in online courses.
