Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a key driver of transformation in various sectors, including private equity. This field, which has always relied on human skills and financial analysis, now incorporates cutting-edge technologies to improve its efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness. A bibliometric study was conducted as part of this research using Vosviewer software. The study encompassed 156 documents from the Scopus database, utilizing specific keywords and spanning the period from January 1, 2020, to April 15, 2025. We observed that the United States, China, India, and Italy are the most active contributors in terms of country coverage. Finally, the analysis of keyword co-occurrence revealed four major research groups. The study highlights a growing interdisciplinarity between management sciences, computer science, and economics, reflecting the evolution of private equity towards an increasing use of advanced technologies. This bibliometric review thus makes it possible to map an emerging field and identify its current dynamics and gaps.
