A Bibliometric Examination of Research at the Convergence of Venture Capital and Sustainability
摘要
Venture capital and sustainability are now converging toward a common goal: financing innovation while addressing social and environmental issues. This convergence is giving rise to a new investment model in which economic performance is closely tied to social and environmental impact. This study is based on a bibliometric analysis carried out using Vosviewer software on 351 publications indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus databases between January 1, 2015, and October 1, 2025. A thesaurus file was used to clean up the keywords. The results show that China, the United States, and Italy were the most productive countries. After analyzing the co-occurrence of keywords, four major research groups were identified. Based on these results, we have formulated several avenues for further research that could advance the understanding of the intersection between venture capital and sustainability.
