ICT-Driven Faculty Development Ecosystem: A Case Study on Effective Teaching Practices at Engineering College
摘要
This paper presents a case study on the implementation of an Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-driven Faculty Development Program (FDP) conducted, focusing on the theme ‘Effective Teaching Practices’. The FDP aimed to strengthen teaching competence among faculty through the integration of ICT tools, collaborative pedagogy, and modern evaluation approaches. Newly appointed faculty members participated in blended training program that integrated digital platforms such as Google Classroom, Mentimeter, Padlet, and Moodle Learning Mangement System (LMS). Post-program assessment revealed significant enhancement in teaching practices, engagement levels, and digital literacy. The program demonstrated how ICT tools can foster continuous professional growth and institutional excellence in alignment with National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) frameworks.
