Martensitic Phase Transformations and the Shape Memory Effect
摘要
This chapter provides a detailed review of martensitic phase transformations, explaining relevant physical concepts of these transformations and the shape memory effect, which is a special case of martensitic phase transformations. This chapter introduces various theories and methods that explain martensitic phase transformations, including Landau’s theory, reconstructive phase transformations, phonon softening, various structural deformation models, and continuum theory based on energy minimisation, to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of this subject.
