Electronic computers play an important role in the modern system of science and technology. The Chinese electronic computer industry started in the 1950s, and the process of the development of Chinese computer went through four main stages: the electronic tube stage, transistor stage, small- and medium-sized integrated circuits stage, and the ultra large integrated circuit and microcomputers stage. This article reviews the literature on the study of the Chinese electronic computer by a classification method and proposes that there is still great potential in studying important computer models, the study of communication in computers technology between China and other countries, and the study of important personnel in Computer History.
