COIN Enterprise Transformation

This chapter reframes enterprise transformation as a shift from digitalizing processes to redesigning the relational conditions of value creation in the age of co-intelligence. Intelligence is treated not as a static asset embedded in systems, but as an evolving, relational force coupling with human intelligence and human-AI engagement, captured as Tokenized Dynamic Intelligences (TDIs)—actionable encodings that circulate across platforms, workflows, ecosystems, and lived experiences. The chapter delves into this COIN Enterprise transformation through the Five Loci of Co-Intelligent Value Creation (capability, enactment, activity, strategy, performance) and positions the PIEX lens and COIN Systems Architecture as relational blueprints for how value is co-created, learned, and scaled. It makes this transformation concrete through three distinct gateways. JPMorganChase illustrates how generative AI rewires institutional cognition within highly regulated environments. Legora and Harvey demonstrate how agentic AI reshapes high-stakes knowledge work through supervised, multi-step co-work and workflow orchestration. Tesla exemplifies physical AI, where vehicles, factories, robots, and energy systems form fleet-learning, cyber-physical ecosystems. Across these cases, the chapter shows that every channel of co-intelligent value creation is also a channel of co-intelligent risk. A relational risk framework—spanning cognitive, agentic, experiential, ecosystemic, and impact risks—grounds a risk-by-design approach anchored in Sustainable Wellbeing Impacts (SWIs). The chapter concludes by positioning relational co-intelligence as a practical pathway from AI adoption to co-evolutionary enterprise redesign.
