The Chapter reviews different spatial management issues by existing publications, and then offers and explains concrete tools and scenarios for spatial management in SGL. These include finding and using shortest path tree and spatial pattern matching in networks, worldwide search for certain individuals identified by specific features and assisted by distributed security systems, chasing and fighting multiple targets at a battlefield under global awareness supported by the chasers regularly informing each other about the targets seen. Other scenarios are for tracking mobile objects by distributed radar networks, cooperative robotic finding of oil spill center, discovering, surrounding, and battling forest fires, also cooperation of autonomous vehicles within optimized lane manoeuvring.
