摘要
Considering the application of new technologies, people with higher education levels are sought. These technological changes influence employment. The article analyzes the connection between the level of higher university education and the degree of employability of graduates with higher education. For people aged between 25 and 64, people with education levels 5–8 are approached. Thus, starting from the comparative situation of the population aged between 25 and 64, the article presents the evolution of people with education levels 5–8. Also, for this age group, an analysis of the evolution of the employment rate is presented. As a result of this analysis, it is observed that, at the level of the European Union, compared to 2014, in 2023, the population decreased, and the trend is a decreasing one. However, the share of the population between the ages of 25 and 64 with education levels 5–8 has increased and the trend is increasing. Under these conditions, it can be seen that the employment rate for these people has also increased. It was found that in the case of some countries the weights have increased, and for others they have decreased. The analysis carried out is important from the perspective of the development of economic activities for certain areas of the economy. The existence in one country or another of a population with higher levels of education allows the reorientation of certain industries or services to those communities.
