Enhancing Salesforce Service Cloud Through DevOps-Driven Customization and Rollback Mechanisms for Sustainable Development

Salesforce Service Cloud is a leading customer service platform widely adopted by enterprises to deliver scalable and personalized support experiences. However, customizing and managing deployments in complex environments often introduces risks, including configuration errors and integration issues. This paper presents a DevOps-driven approach to Salesforce Service Cloud customization that emphasizes automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and robust rollback mechanisms to mitigate risks. By embedding sustainable development principles—such as maintainability, long-term scalability, and resource efficiency—into the DevOps lifecycle, this approach ensures reduced operational overhead and enhanced reliability. The proposed framework enables dynamic adaptation to evolving business needs without compromising stability or sustainability, offering a roadmap for organizations aiming to modernize their customer service platforms while aligning with responsible digital transformation goals.
