Performance Evaluation and Agri-Food Systems: A Global Overview and Emerging Trends in the Last Decade (2014–2024)
摘要
This study focuses on analyzing key aspects and existing gaps in research on performance measurement in sustainable agri-food systems, taking into account contemporary challenges such as climate change, food security, and emerging technological trends. With the aim of contributing to the scientific literature through a bibliometric analysis, records from the Scopus database over the last ten years were examined, complemented with visual representations created using VOSviewer software and data processing tools such as Excel and Power BI. The analysis considered co-occurrences of keywords and countries, trends in publications, the most cited papers, as well as prominent authors, thereby highlighting international scientific collaboration and the importance of building strong networks of knowledge exchange. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the relevance of conducting these analyses periodically, as they allow a remarkable and consistent growth of research in this area. The findings not only provide a basis for future investigations but also promote the design and development of methodologies to measure the performance of agri-food chains, prioritizing their sustainability and resilience.
