Atypicality, Leaders, and Voice: Pro-EDI and Anti-EDI Voice Mechanisms
摘要
This chapter examines the interplay of leader atypicality with pro- and anti-EDI voice mechanisms. It explores the nuanced ways in which leaders’ typicality and atypicality impact their responses and voice behaviours about EDI. The chapter highlights the unique challenges faced by typical and atypical leaders in supporting or resisting EDI interventions. The chapter identifies barriers that hinder effective leadership and voice among typical and atypical leaders, while also offering practical strategies for supporting pro-EDI voice mechanisms.
