Nowadays, many upper-limb prosthetics are centered on the actuation of the end-effector through electromechanical control. In this paper, a wrist rotation myoelectric prosthetic device system was designed, tested, and validated, utilizing CDIO methodology throughout the entirety of the project. By making careful analysis and research on the different components and microcontroller options, a prototype was designed considering the necessities of the device for the end-user. Each component of the system was designed and subjected to tests to validate its functionality. Finally, the different parts were integrated into a single device, validating its functionality to achieve a control system of the wrist rotation in a myoelectric prosthetic device.

摘要
