Enhanced Visibility System for Winter Driving
摘要
Winter driving is often compromised by poor visibility due to fog, snow, and low-light conditions, increasing the likelihood of accidents. The proposed Enhanced Visibility System for Winter Driving addresses this challenge by integrating an Arduino-based hardware setup with an IoT-enabled software framework. The system utilizes a combination of environmental sensors—such as temperature, humidity, and light sensors—interfaced with Arduino to monitor real-time atmospheric conditions. Based on this input, the IoT module analyses the data and dynamically triggers visibility enhancement mechanisms, such as fog detection alerts, lighting adjustments, or warning systems, which are communicated through a web or mobile interface. This ensures that drivers receive timely and accurate feedback regarding visibility status and potential hazards. The system’s compact design, low power consumption, and real-time cloud connectivity make it suitable for both standalone deployment and integration into modern vehicles. By enabling proactive decision-making and improving situational awareness, this solution contributes significantly to safer winter driving experiences.
