This study included the production of advanced concrete blocks with thermal insulation properties that can be used in public and private buildings for external and internal walls exposed to direct sunlight, taking into account the economic feasibility and availability of raw materials that can be used. These blocks were produced and manufactured from cement and sand mortar, and poured into wooden molds with dimensions of 200 * 200 * 400 mm. It is worth noting that these blocks are used as wall partitions and not as load-bearing partitions. They are also known as lightweight hollow concrete blocks. The components of ready-mix concrete are determined by cement mortar using different ratios of sand and cement, and are calculated as follows: 1:1.5, 1:1.6, 1:1.7, 1:1.9, 1:2.1, 1:2.3, 1:2.5, where the best ideal ratio has been determined. Which gives sufficient and ideal compressive strength for using concrete blocks as partitions is (1:2.5) (FC 7) in addition to different proportions of foaming agent, (1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5), (L/m3) are added later to determine the best mix of concrete. Six different experimental mixes were carried out, and the best proportion was determined to be 2.0 L/m3 (FC3) of foaming material, which was applied to four different types of concrete blocks, solid. Two-cavity blocks, three-cavity blocks, and rectangular-cavity blocks of various dimensions. Unlike conventional technologies, these cavities are filled with polystyrene, a lightweight, locally available thermal insulation material that increases the thermal insulation rate by extending the heat transfer path and reducing thermal conductivity, which helps reduce energy consumption and thus lower costs and maintain a sustainable environment.

摘要
