Solar energy is a crucial and extensively utilized kind of energy. It is a renewable energy source that is cost-effective, environmentally sustainable, and devoid of emissions and toxins. This stands in stark contrast to fossil fuels, which are expensive and produce emissions and pollutants that contribute to global warming. Flat-plate solar collectors utilize solar energy for various purposes, including water heating in residential and industrial settings. Flat-plate solar collector technologies provide water heating with little expenditures for upkeep and operation. This article discusses improvements made to flat-panel solar collectors, including nanofluids, reflective mirrors, and absorbent plates. After looking at past research, it was decided that reflective mirrors are the best way to make solar collectors work better. This is because they focus more solar radiation on the collector, which increases heat transfer to the tubes and makes the collector work better. The essay examined the advancements in flat plate solar collectors aimed at enhancing thermal efficiency through the incorporation of Mirrors in solar water heating systems. This article discusses the effect of integrating flat-plate solar collectors with mirrors in order to improve thermal performance. Combining flat-plate solar collectors with combining flat-plate solar collectors with Mirrors is a useful and economical method to enhance thermal performance and boost the efficiency of solar water heaters. This research aims to assess many studies that have used various reflectors to enhance thermal efficiency and provide a design for optimal efficiency. Previous research and studies didn't clearly show or identify the best angle for tilting the reflective mirrors so that they work most efficiently with the flat solar collector. Now, experiments are being done to find the best angle for tilting the reflective mirrors.
