A Cloud-Based Computer-Mediated Communication Framework for Peer Feedback in English to Arabic Translation Learning
摘要
This research utilizes cloud computing as a digital infrastructure to examine the effects of Cloud-Based Computer-Mediated Communication (CCMC) on peer feedback in English-to-Arabic translation learning. It also addresses some of the challenges related to time and feedback characteristic of conventional methods by leveraging cloud computing, which facilitates the establishment of a powerful collaborative environment that enables real-time feedback, increases storage capacity, and promotes learner interaction. The study reveals that instructors and students prefer peer feedback in translation, indicating its effectiveness. CCMC is recognized as a helpful application that facilitates students’ collaboration and enhances the quality of input and translation. The results reveal the differences among the participants’ groups and show the changes in perceptions and learning outcomes, proving the importance of CCMC in creating a supportive learning environment. Finally, the study recommends incorporating CCMC into translation education to harness the possibilities of improving feedback efficiency and the learning process.
