Electricity is the science that studies the natural phenomena we call electrical. From the study of this phenomenon have arisen many applications, which include: electric light, electric machines, motors, generators, computers, etc. The study of the many applications of electricity laws is what we call electrical engineering. In an electrical circuit there are active and passive elements. This chapter also analyzes the characteristics of materials regarding electrical conduction.
