Usability and Accessibility of Web Design Lessons Based on a Taxonomic Model
摘要
The article presents the main ideas, methodology and results of a study on the organization of web design education in universities. The authors present the possibilities of the taxonomic approach to structuring and classifying learning content in order to increase its level of accessibility and usability. The taxonomic model offered by authors includes a taxonomy of key terms, a classification of lessons, and a taxonomy of flashcards. A classification system was developed in the course of the research in order to structure the content of the learning materials based on this model, organize and personalize learning, and motivate learners. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology was evaluated by prototyping and testing with target user groups – teachers and students, including people with different functional needs. The results of the study show that this systematic approach can not only facilitate learning and improve the uptake of learning materials, but also integrate the principles of accessibility and usability into the learning process itself. The paper also discusses the possibilities of adapting the taxonomy model to other educational fields, highlighting its potential for widespread application in digital education.
