School gardens represent an ideal place for growing but also make possibilities for multidisciplinary learning not only science, but also languages, art, math etc. The presented research article offers and introduce one project GREEN day realized at Botanical Garden of Slovak Agriculture University in Nitra. College students of the 2 grade Preschool and Elementary Pedagogy participated in wide range of activities involved excursion and cognition of plant species according to communities (forestry, water, meadow), geobotanical arrangement of observed biological materials, recognition of variability in nature (living and no living), understanding the main principles of nature (relations among organism) and finally recycling of waste.
