Main Trends in Use of AI in Chemistry and Physics Education in Upper Primary and Secondary Schools: Literature Review
摘要
The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into education has emerged as a key topic of interest among educators and policymakers in the current period. This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) focused on the role of AI in chemistry and physics at primary and secondary education. Guided by PRISMA methodology, a total of 2710 articles were initially identified through a targeted search in the Web of Science database, from which 12 studies met strict inclusion criteria for detailed analysis. The review highlights four thematic domains of AI application. The topic of AI in teacher education and professional development focuses on how AI technologies can be integrated into teacher training workshops. Many of the analyzed studies highlight the potential of AI to support student reasoning and problem-solving. A significant trend is the use of AI tutoring systems and automated feedback, which can provide personalized support and improve learning outcomes. Additionally, AI-powered tools are being explored as a means to boost student motivation, offering adaptive and engaging learning experiences.
