The present review explains the role of big data analytics and artificial intelligence in helping such patients. The artificial intelligence-based assistive robots can provide emotional support and assistance to dementia patients. Through AI, the quality of life of such patients can be improved. The assistive robots can act as care-takers and can help them with timely reminders, facilitate them in taking medicines, etc. Moreover, they can provide companionship to the patient and can enhance positive emotions in them. This can help them to stay healthy, and thus they can dwell with more confidence and happiness.
