This research presents a crescent-shaped microstrip patch antenna designed for ISM band applications at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. The antenna incorporates capacitive matching pads, vertical slots, and a partial ground plane to enhance bandwidth and impedance matching. Simulated results reveal a return loss of −74.34 dB at 2.404 GHz, with a wide bandwidth of 1.47 GHz. The antenna achieves a gain of 2.89 dBi, a VSWR of 1.0003, and an efficiency of 87.6%. Its compact size, planar geometry, and high bandwidth make it well-suited for integration in IoT, WLAN, and embedded wireless systems that require both low cost and stable performance.
