Airport Vulnerability Assessment Model
摘要
Airport vulnerability represents the degree of susceptibility or exposure of an airport to various threats or attacks that may jeopardize its security, operations, or infrastructure. It forms part of a broader framework of risk and security assessment in air transport. Airports are sensitive targets, where an attack or malfunction can have serious consequences. Identifying weaknesses in airport resilience allows for the implementation of preventive measures. International organizations (e.g., ICAO, EASA, EU) and national authorities require regular assessment of airport risks and vulnerabilities. Standard methods include Security Risk Assessment or Threat and Vulnerability Assessment. The authors present their own model for assessing airport vulnerability, linked to a specific key element of airport infrastructure and a specific threat.
