In light of the growing mental health challenges among university students, enhancing psychoeducational efficiency and quality through advanced technology has emerged as a key research focus. This paper introduces the C4.5 algorithm for innovative evaluations in psychoeducation. Initially, psychological learning principles are applied to assess educators in this domain, with indicators tailored to minimize disruptions in educational assessments. Subsequently, these principles guide the evaluation of students’ psychoeducation, leading to a structured assessment strategy that offers a thorough analysis of the evaluation outcomes. MATLAB simulation shows that under certain evaluation criteria, the accuracy of C4.5 algorithm for students’ psychoeducation evaluation and mental health judgment time are better than traditional psychoeducation.
