Multiple regression model is a statistical analysis tool used to study the relationship between multiple independent variables and one dependent variable. In the social sciences, educational research, and various fields, such a model is widely used to explore the multiple influencing factors behind complex phenomena. In the model, the independent variables can be continuous, discrete, or categorical, while the dependent variables are usually continuous, such as the students’ English scores. Through multiple regression, we can quantify the independent effects of each independent variable on the dependent variable and the interactions between them, allowing for a deeper understanding of the multivariate factors influencing the outcome. MATLAB simulation shows that under the condition of certain evaluation criteria, the feasibility of multiple regression model for classroom interaction in English classroom teaching. The rationality of classroom interaction is better than that of traditional interaction mode.
